I guess the truth is that God didn't move - I did. God kept nudging me to look deep within, but I refused to hear His whispers in my noisy, busy world. Though soft and faint, God's words were clear and dominate - He wanted me to search my impure heart and change from within to see the world I was trying to create through His eyes.

The One
Describe the moment you knew He was Messiah—when you knew for sure He was the One. The One to give your whole life to. The One He said He was When I was thirteen and walking into my schools Christian club all alone but excited to hear about the God everyone kept boasting about. I … Continue reading The One
A Life of Worship
“For the dead cannot praise You; they cannot raise their voices in praise. Those who go down to the grave can no longer hope in Your faithfulness. Only the living can Praise You as I do today. Each generation tells of Your faithfulness to the next.” Isaiah 38:18-19 As our relationship with God grows, when … Continue reading A Life of Worship
What is love?
“May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3:5 I originally started this post two months ago, and just could not find the time or motivation to finish it. I had no idea where God was … Continue reading What is love?
The Color Purple

Louisiana – Tifa — The Open Door Movement
Some beautiful souls sharing the love of Jesus crossed my path one weekend, and I haven't been the same since!
Who Am I?

I consistently critique myself for fear of being too much or not enough in the eyes of everyone else. I know I’m not alone in this, but sometimes it feels like such a lonely combat. The … Continue reading Who Am I?
The Good Life

The MacArthur Daily BibleI often assumed from past experiences of hearing and seeing Christians smiling and speaking of ‘the good stuff’ was because their life was only … Continue reading The Good Life
The Power of the Cross
There is nothing like the love of God. It's merciful, it's plentiful, it's abundant, it's immeasurable. Can you think of anything that compares? I know what you're thinking - obviously this girl hasn't had those Dove chocolates with the caramel on the inside. Truth is, I have and as much as I would love to … Continue reading The Power of the Cross
Christ-like love
Giant lavish trees providing an abundance of shade. Smooth spring breeze whistling through the leaves. Sweet songbird tweeting the softest tune. Cute little kid playing in the distance with her young puppy. A momma silently nursing her crying ruff and tumble boy who just scraped his knee. Grandma and grandpa slowly strolling the walking path, … Continue reading Christ-like love
